Your dog's biological age could be older or younger than their calendar age; it's a measure of how well their body is functioning. DNAge provides deeper insights into your dog's cellular pace of aging~and what actions you can take to help them live healthier.

Your dog's biological DNAge depends on both genetics, or the specific DNA blueprint they inherited from their parents, as well as epigenetics, the process by which environment and lifestyle can influence gene expression without ever altering the underlying genetic code. One form of epigenetic alteration is called DNA methylation. myDogDNAge tests evaluate methylation patterns in your dog's DNA to reveal their biological age.
